What makes the AirFrame different from a traditional bed frame?

The AirFrame combines a supportive steel platform with soft foam upholstery around the frame. Its cushioned edges and low-profile design bring a softer look and feel to your bedroom.

Does the headboard need to be placed against a wall?

Yes. The soft padded headboard needs a wall behind it for support. Position it firmly against the wall, especially when sitting up to read or relax. It is not intended for freestanding use.

Are the headboard and padded base separate pieces?

Yes. The headboard and padded base are separate pieces. Follow the assembly guide to position them correctly, and keep the headboard supported against a wall.

Can I use the AirFrame without a box spring?

Yes. The AirFrame is a platform bed designed to support a mattress without a box spring. Choose the matching mattress size and follow your mattress manufacturer’s support requirements.

Is the AirFrame a good choice for homes with children or pets?

The low-profile padded surround offers a softer surface around the bed, which can be helpful in busy family homes. Choose an appropriate bed height and mattress for the intended user. The upholstery is not a guarantee against injury or pet damage.

Which mattress size should I choose? Is a small gap around the mattress normal?

Our inner platform sizes match standard U.S. mattress sizes. A little clearance can occur because mattress dimensions vary by brand and model. Check that the mattress matches the selected bed size. If the gap looks unusually large, send us photos and the mattress measurements so we can help check the fit.

How long does assembly take?

Assembly time varies with the selected size and your experience. Generally, it takes 10-25mins (1 person). Allow time to read the guide and check each step. Completing assembly and allowing the compressed foam to fully recover are separate stages.

Why does the upholstery look creased after unboxing?

Compression packaging can leave temporary creases while the foam and fabric relax. Allow time for recovery and gently smooth the upholstery by hand. Before using an iron or steamer, check the care instructions for your exact fabric.

Will the fabric color look exactly like the photos?

The fabric may appear slightly different under different lighting or on different screens. Review the fabric close-ups as well as the room photos. If you are unsure about a shade, contact us before ordering.

What materials are used in the AirFrame?

The AirFrame uses a steel support frame, foam padding, and upholstered fabric. The Beige Chenille option has a chenille covering. Fabric and finish depend on the selected variant.

Is the mattress included?

No.

Is the padded headboard comfortable for reading or relaxing in bed?

The cushioned headboard provides a soft surface to lean against while reading or relaxing. Keep it firmly against the wall for support, and add pillows to suit your preferred sitting position.

Does the AirFrame work well in apartments or smaller bedrooms?

Its low profile can suit an apartment bedroom. Before ordering, measure the full upholstered footprint, doorways, and space around the bed. The padded surround takes up more room than the mattress alone.

I only received one box. Where is the rest of my bed?

Queen, King, and California King sizes are shipped in two separate packages and may not arrive on the same day. All hardware and the manual are in one of the boxes. Please wait for both to arrive before assembly.

Why does the color look slightly different in person?

Lighting conditions and different screen displays can cause slight color variations between the product images and the actual item.

Do I need a box spring for this bed frame?

No. The sturdy wooden slats provide strong, reliable support for your mattress.

What's the difference between solid bamboo and traditional hardwoods?

The bed frame is made from solid bamboo, a fast-growing and renewable material. It is a more sustainable alternative to traditional hardwoods.

Will the mattress slide on the frame?

No. The slat design and recessed mattress area help keep the mattress securely in place during normal use.

Is the center support stable? Why doesn't it touch the floor?

Absolutely! Our heavy-duty frame design features interlocking joinery and a reinforced floating center support, designed to distribute weight evenly and provide reliable stability. The floating design is intentional and does not compromise structural support. With a weight capacity of up to 800 lbs, the bed frame is built to resist sagging and wobbling for a sturdy, comfortable sleep experience.

What if parts arrive damaged or I have assembly issues?

We offer hassle-free replacements. If any part is scuffed or missing due to transit, contact us. We’ll ship replacement parts immediately—no need to return the whole box.

Which mattress size should I order?
